Bereavement Support Group

Where: Pastoral Care Department, 1st Floor, Waterbury Hospital

When: Mondays, Sept 9 - Oct 28, 6:00 pm

Deacon Neil Culhane, director of Pastoral Care Department, will be leading an eight-week bereavement support group starting September 9th at 6 pm. During each of the eight weeks various topics will be discussed such as: the myths of bereavement, the physical/emotional effects of not expressing bereavement, secondary losses, why friends are treating you differently and/or avoiding you, etc. The main focus will be developing and reinforcing the ten coping skills to get through this difficult time.
