Dr. Janet Lynne Vodra specializes in gynecology. She has been practicing in Waterbury for more than 20 years. She is Board Certified in OB/GYN. She grew up in Brookfield, Connecticut and attended the University of Miami earning a B.S. in Biology.
Dr. Vodra received her medical degree graduating first in her class from the honors program at University of Miami. She was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Societies. Dr. Vodra did her specialty training in OB/GYN at the University of South Florida in Tampa.
Dr. Vodra has been past chairman of the OB/GYN department at Waterbury Hospital. She is particularly interested in preventative care, contraception and minimally invasive surgery/robotic surgery. She enjoys caring for women of all ages from teenagers to postmenopausal women.
She is married and the mother of two children. Her hobbies include reading and hiking.
